Walking Fish Group:
projects
In conjunction with Rio Tinto, we have examined a series of problems and scenarios in the mining industry, using multi-objective evolutionary algorithms to generate solutions better than those possible using previous methods.
We have applied multi- and single-objective evolutionary algorithms to a range of applications in games, scheduling, operations research, and other areas.
We have developed a series of algorithms based on HSO (Hypervolume by Slicing Objectives), both for calculating the hypervolume of a non-dominated front, for use as a metric, and for calculating the exclusive hypervolume of a point vs a front, for use in selection, archiving, or diversity calculations.
We have developed a toolkit for constructing scalable test problems for multi-objective optimisation algorithms.
